As an integrative therapist my practice is informed by several psychotherapeutic models and theories. This includes person centred, attachment, cognitive behavioural, and systemic, while also emphasising the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Do not worry if you are unsure about what all of that means, it means I know a number of different methods that could help you.
Experience
I have worked with individuals from a range of backgrounds who have experienced or are experiencing challenges that have a negative impact on them. This has included (but is not limited to) trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, domestic abuse, addiction, low self-esteem, core beliefs systems, parenting, disability, illness, stress, relationships, and unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Before starting a private therapeutic practice I worked for a domestic abuse charity, counselling survivors of domestic abuse, and a family centre, counselling parents struggling with the challenges of family life.
Previously I have worked for a charity running courses in high schools that help participants build positive mental wellbeing and life confidence, and for a charity that supports those seeking freedom from addiction.

Having experienced personally the positive changes therapy can facilitate, I am passionate about helping others.
